\ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ/ ) KinGsub v1.00 Subtitles fix ( /______________________________________________\ OS : Win32 Command Line Windows 9x/Me/NT4/2000,XP, UNIX. This feature is for fixing problems with subtitles that you have ripped from DVD with SubRip program. Options: 1,2,6,9,10,11,14 support only MicroDVD - sub file Options: 3,4,5,7,8,12,13,15 support both MicroDVD - sub, and SubRip - srt NOTE: Subtitles formats are MicroDVD and SubRip so make sure you have a 'sub' file like: {106}{124} or 'srt' file like: 00:02:06,800 --> 00:02:11,160 ______________________________________________________________________ What is new in KinGsub v1.00: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 = Decrease subtitle time (-) [for MicroDVD - sub only] This option helps you when you cut the subtitle you have ripped to 2 files and you want your second file to start from the beginning, and not to continue from the middle. So you have to find the correct number for the first line, and see how much you have Decreased it from the original time, Insert the number you want to Decrease, and the KinGSub automatically will Decrease the time for all the lines. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 = Increase subtitle time (+) [for MicroDVD - sub only] This option is the same as the above but now it Increases the time. You can use this if you got your time wrong, Check how much you have to Increase, Insert the number you want to Increase, and all your lines will be automatically Increased. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 = Change 'l' to 'I' The SubRip gets confused between 'l' and 'I'. So to fix this choose this option. It fixes: I, It, It's, If, In, Is, Isn't. choose option "10" to mark those lines and you can see if there is anything wrong like: lKatie instead of: Katie. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 = Make Hebrew words backwards The most common problem with Hebrew it gets it from left to right as English instead of right to left. So after you have ripped your Hebrew sub file, you can fix it with this option, so you will be able to see Hebrew properly. Note: Since the numbers doesn't display backwards I didn't touched them. If you do have problem with numbers that show up backwards, use option "5" to fix it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 5 = Make only numbers in text backwards Sometimes there is a problem in the DVD itself that you see numbers backwards, Mostly in foreign languages. So to fix this choose this option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 6 = Make Hebrew sentence after '|' first [for MicroDVD - sub only] Some ripped Hebrew subtitles are displaying the second half of the sentence before the first half, and this is because of the player '|' mark that tells it where to cut the sentence. This option makes the sentence in order again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 7 = Fix whole Hebrew (Options 4,5,6 at once) Some ripped Hebrew subtitles need to use all Hebrew fix options, 4,5,6. This option does it all at once. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 8 = Delete extra inverted commas (") Another problem with the SubRip program is that when he asks you what is this character? ("). and you say it's inverted commas (") it puts double inverted commas like: ""I had lunch already"" So to Delete the extra inverted commas, Choose this option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 9 = Mark places with Numbers [for MicroDVD - sub only] Another problem with the SubRip program is that it makes a space in the middle of numbers like: 1 972. Since you can't know if there should be a space or not you have to check it by yourself so to make life easier, I've made this option to Mark places with numbers. The line that have a number on it get Marked with an empty line down after it, so you can see it immediately. But DON'T FORGET to delete this empty line and close this space after you have checked it, Otherwise the player won't play the sub file with the movie. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 10 = Mark places that start with 'l' [for MicroDVD - sub only] This is for the problem mentioned on option "3" the SubRip gets confused between 'l' and 'I'. "KinGsub" fixes most of it automatically on option "3" but there is still a problem if at the beginning of the line or after line down sign which is: | there a word that starts with an 'I' but the SubRip made it 'l', Since you can't know if it should start with an 'I' or an 'l' it could be: lunch or: lnternet which should be: Internet. So you have to check it by yourself. As above the line that have a word at the beginning of it that starts with an 'l' get Marked with an empty line down after it, so you can see it immediately. DON'T FORGET to delete this empty line and close this space after you have checked it, Otherwise the player won't play the sub file with the movie. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 11 = Mark places with your characters [for MicroDVD - sub only] This option is the same as above it Marks lines with an empty line after it. But this time you choose the characters you want the program to mark the line that has this characters. You can use this if you got some character by mistake like capital "Q" instead of a small "q". or you want to mark all the lines with "-" or with "areyou". It won't mark places with all same characters, only if it's the first in sentence, or has spaces before and after. DON'T FORGET to delete this empty line and close this space after you have checked it, Otherwise the player won't play the sub file with the movie. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 12 = Delete the '|' sign If you don't want the subtitle to be in 2 or 3 lines you can delete the sign '|' that tells the Micro DVD to do so. Also if you are using a different program like BSPlayer that doesn't recognize the sign '|' and shows it on the subtitle, use this option to delete it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 13 = Replace a character You can Replace any character to another character or a string of characters. You can also delete any character, or make space instead of it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 14 = Correct the time using another file [for MicroDVD - sub only] Sometimes you have a file in different language or so that its time is right, and you want to make your sub file time just like it. So insert your unfixed sub file then the other file. But make sure you have the same lines in both if not delete the unnecessary lines. But make sure they both have the same amount of lines. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 15 = Make all letters a lower case If the words in the file are upper case. You can make them lower case by choosing this option. It will leave a capital 'I' and won't make it 'i'. ______________________________________________________________________ DON'T FORGET: you must insert your sub file directory when you are asked to, like - c:\eng.sub For comments e-mail me at: gogoldmine@yahoo.com http://www.geocities.com/gogoldmine
