DiVA is High Speed, High Quality MPEG-2 to QuickTime transcoder which features an all YUV graphics pipeline and pro-level image scaling, for maximum image fidelity. The built in crop/scale panel and support for NTSC 3:2 pull-down makes video manipulation simple.

Combined with 3ivx D4 4.0.3 DiVA achieves framerates in excess of 40fps on a Dual 1Ghz G4.

DiVA is the fastest, highest quality MPEG-2 transcoder available for Mac OS X.

What is cool about DiVA?

It is FAST!
It is high quality.
It uses alot of threads which are good for dual cpu machines.
It makes no conversion to RGB. That saves time and quality.
It handles mpeg1 and mpeg2 files even in .vob format.
It correctly handles NTSC 3:2 pull-down.
It has a nice live slider in the cropping window.
If your DVD is not encrypted you can encode directly from it.
