LCL is Loss-Less Codec for Video For Windows.
Since LCL is a Loss-Less codec, it does not have degradation of quality of image.
LCL is suitable for digital animation or the animation of 3DCGs.
LCL contains two kinds of codecs by the use.
AVIzlib: It is the codec of the rate of high compression which used zlib.
AVImszh: It is a codec for digital animation.
Special thanks to Jacques Thibault for letting us know about this codec, for pointing out that this codec compresses better than the well known Huffyuv codec, although Huffyuv is much faster.
