RadLight is an application developed to offer you fast and high quality playback of DivX content and other multimedia files.

New version of RadLight has been completely rewritten introducing new Direct Show rendering core with the ability to play all DivX, MPEG-I and VideoCD content. RadLight is one of few players capable of multilanguage audio support. Release 3 is no longer based on Windows Media Player, resulting in highly improved performance and visual quality.

RadLight is one of many applications based on RadLight OpenAPI technology. Due to this advanced technology new features, such as WinLirc remote control, could be easily implemented into RadLight. RadLight enables you to fully customize its interface. You can easily turn off window border and watch movies borderless. Easy2Use shortcut keys are available to control the player in fullscreen mode, as well.

Note 3: This addon pack adds AC3 support for RadLight and can now be downloaded from the official site.

Please note that this is a general multimedia player for playing back AVI files. Different AVI files may be encoded with different "codecs" (compressors and decompressors ; COders and DECoders), so by having an AVI player does mean you can play every single AVI file in the world (you'll need to separately download and install the codec for the AVI file as well).
